- Extension Installation
To install the MasterCard Payment Gateway extension in the WooCommerce environment, Login to your Wordpress admin panel. Go to Plugins à Installed Plugins. Click on “Add New”.
- Upload Plugin Zip
Click “Upload Plugin” where you can browse the extension package zip you downloaded from our store and click “Install Now”.
Once the extension is installed, go to WooCommerce à Settings à Payments where you can see the MasterCard Payment plugin installed. Click on “Finish Set Up” button to configure the MasterCard Payment Gateway settings.
- Extension settings
On click of “Finish Set Up”, you can see extension settings. Configure each from here: -
- Enable/Disable: Enable the MasterCard payment method from here.
- Title: Set the custom payment method title to show on the checkout page in the frontend.
- Description: Add a description to show on the checkout page in the frontend.
- MPGS URL: Enter payment gateway service URL provided by MasterCard.
- API Version: Enter any API version number from 1-53 if you want to use Legacy 3DS1 or enter 63 or above to integrate Authentication API. - Merchant ID: Enter the merchant ID provided by MasterCard during registration.
- Login to https://ap-gateway.mastercard.com/ma/login with your credentials. Move to Admin > Configuration Details. You can find merchant ID here, just copy and paste it in the above field in plugin configuration.

- Authentication Password: Enter authentication password provided by MasterCard while registration.
- Again, in the MasterCard admin panel, move to Admin > Integration Settings. Copy the password 1 from here and paste it in the above field in plugin configuration.
- Authentication Password: Enter authentication password provided by MasterCard while registration.

- Name: Enter the merchant name to show on the MasterCard hosted payment page.
- Redirect Text: Enter text to show on the frontend before redirection to MasterCard hosted payment page.
- MasterCard Payment Method in Frontend
While checking out the products, you can see the MasterCard payment method on the checkout page in the frontend. Select it and click “Place Order” button to to get redirected to the hosted payment page for payment.
- Adding Card Details
On the MasterCard hosted payment page, enter card details, confirm the payment amount and click the button to pay for the order.
- MasterCard Payment Details in Order Success Page
Once the payment is successful, the customer gets redirected back to the merchant site where the payment method details is shown in the order success page and account dashboard. The payment detail it includes is order ID, order reference number, order status, card type, card number and transaction receipt.
The order view in the WooCommerce admin panel shows the payment information to the admin. It displays the order ID, order reference number, order status, card type, card number and transaction receipt.
