Magento Image Clean scans for unused product and category images present in the media folder & helps to delete it to have an optimized Magento store!

- Upload or copy all folders in the zip package to your Magento root folder. It doesn’t overwrite any existing files but just adds new files to the folder structure.
- Once done, log in your Magento admin panel, go to System > Cache Management, select all caches and refresh.
- Navigate to System > Configuration, if you can see the extension tab, it is installed properly.
- If you get Access denied error, you need to log out admin panel and log in again.
- Unused Category Images
The extension enables to delete the unused category images from Image Clean > Unused Category Images. Click “Fetch New Images” button to fetch new unused images from categories and update the list. These images can be deleted using mass delete action or individually using delete action.
- Unused Product Images
The extension allows to update the list of unused product images and delete them from Image Clean > Unused Product Images. On click of “Fetch New Images” button, new unused images from product media get fetched and listed in the grid. These images can be deleted after selection using mass delete action. Also, you can delete individual image using delete action.
- Success Message
Once the selected unused images are deleted from products or categories, the success message to acknowledge the delete action is displayed as shown below.
