  1. Extension Installation
  • For Magento Marketplace Customers
    • Find the Composer name and version of the extension in the extension’s composer.json file.
    • Login to your SSH and run:
      • composer require meetanshi/magento-2-payeezy-first-data-global-gateway-e4
    • Enter your authentication keys. Your public key is your username; your private key is your password.
    • Wait for Composer to finish updating your project dependencies and make sure there aren’t any errors.
    • To verify that the extension installed properly, run the command:
      • php bin/magento module:status Meetanshi_Firstdata
    • By default, the extension is probably disabled.
    • Enable the extension and clear static view files:
      • php bin/magento module:enable Meetanshi_Firstdata --clear-static-content
      • php bin/magento setup:upgrade
      • For Magento version 2.0.x to 2.1.x - php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy
      • For Magento version 2.2.x & above - php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy –f
      • php bin/magento cache:flush

 

    • For Meetanshi Customers
      • Extract the zip folder and upload our extension to the root of your Magento 2 directory via FTP.
      • Login to your SSH and run below commands step by step:
        • php bin/magento setup:upgrade
        • For Magento version 2.0.x to 2.1.x - php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy
        • For Magento version 2.2.x & above - php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy –f
        • php bin/magento cache:flush

 

  1. Configuration
    For configuring the extension, login to Magento 2, move to Stores à Configuration à Sales à Payment Methods à Payeezy First Data Global Gateway E4 – Meetanshi where you can find various settings to enable the extension.
  • Enabled: Enable or disable Payeezy First Data GGE4 extension from here.
  • Title: Enter title for the Payeezy First Data GGE4 payment method to show in the frontend.
  • Show First Data Payeezy Logo: Select YES to show Payeezy First Data logo on the checkout page in frontend.
  • Sandbox Mode: Set YES to enable sandbox mode for the payment gateway.
  • Hmac Key: Enter Hmac key received while registration with the Payeezy FirstData Global Gateway E4.
  • Key ID: Enter the key ID received while registration with the Payeezy FirstData Global Gateway E4.

 

  • Gateway ID: Enter the gateway ID received while registration with the Payeezy FirstData Global Gateway E4.
  • Gateway Password: Enter the gateway password received while registration with the Payeezy FirstData Global Gateway E4.
    • From the Payeezy GGE4 dashboard, move to Administration > Select the User > Terminals > Select Terminal > Details where you can find Gateway ID and Gateway Password.

Note: Don’t forget to select “Support level 2 data and level 3 data” radio button before saving details.

 

  • Commodity Code: Commodity code is used to classify the item purchased. For a complete list of commodity codes click here. Enter relevant commodity code for your product globally.
  • Payment Action: Select one of the payment actions for the payment capture.
    • Authorize: Authorizes and validates card for the order amount. The admin has to manually capture the amount (by generating invoice using “Capture Online” option).
    • Authorize and Capture: Authorizes and captures the order amount immediately.
  • Credit Card Types: Select credit card types to allow customers while paying for their orders using Payeezy FirstData Global Gateway E4 payment method.
  • Payment from Applicable Countries: Select all or selected countries to allow payments using Payeezy FirstData Global Gateway E4 payment method.
  • Payment from Selected Countries: If you have set selected countries from the above option, select the countries to allow payments using Payeezy FirstData Global Gateway E4.
  • Debug: Select YES to enable debug.
  • Instructions: Enter additional instructions to show on the checkout page in the frontend.
  • Sort Order: Enter the sort order of the payment method.

 

 

  1. Add Product Specific Commodity Code
    Apart from the global configuration of the commodity code, you can also specify product specific commodity code from Catalog > Products > Product edit and enter commodity code for the particular product.

  1. Payeezy FirstData Global Gateway E4 Payment Method in Frontend
    Once the extension is configured, it can be seen enabled in the frontend. Simply add products to cart and go to the checkout, you can see the Payeezy FirstData GGE4 payment method enabled. Select it, enter the card details and click “Place Order” to finish payment and place the order successfully.

 

 
  • Payeezy FirstData GGE4 Payment Details in My Account Section
    Immediately after the order is placed, the Payeezy FirstData GGE4 payment details can be seen in My Orders tab under the customer’s My Account section.

 

  1. Payeezy FirstData GGE4 Payment Details in Order View Backend
    Apart from the customer’s My Account section, the admin can also see Payeezy FirstData GGE4 payment details from the Sales à Orders à Order View section in the backend.

 

 
  1. Refund Online for Payeezy FirstData GGE4 Order from Backend
    The extension is compatible with online refund through Payeezy FirstData GGE4 payment method. Admin can simply move to Sales > Invoices > View Invoice, click on “Credit Memo” button, while creating a new credit memo, click on “Refund” button to refund online through Payeezy FirstData GGE4 payment method for your order.
